PT-Diesel is primarily used in diesel fueled trucks and cars, construction vehicles, tractors and earth movers, large fishing boats, ferry boats, locomotives and stationary land based diesel engines such as generators. With PT-Diesel there are substantial fuel savings, a noticeable decrease in vehicle exhaust smoke, and reduced maintenance costs.
Reports of premature fuel injector pump and fuel delivery system failures are surfacing at an alarming rate.
Using low sulfur diesel fuels, even if this new fuel has been designed to reduce emissions, the overall consequences are devastating owners of diesel powered vehicles.
Many diesel owners are reporting unexpectedly costly and premature damage. Unfortunately, many owners think the damage to the fuel delivery system is just normal wear and tear. They do not realize that these problems are due to the loss of lubricity caused by sulfur reduction.
Problems usually start with the retraction of the O-rings. Also, pintle valves start to leak where the gasket and injectors meet. It has been diagnosed that due to the severe hydrotreating processing of the diesel fuel to reduce sulfur, the lubricity of the fuel is greatly lowered.
Lubricity is a vital element of the fuel for proper functioning of the delivery system. The lack of it causes galling of the fuel pumps, especially spader types with retractor valves. The retractor valve stays open and they get full pressure at the rack at all times.
This epidemic of premature fuel injector pump failures, caused by low sulfur diesel fuel, can be treated by replacing the lubricity with PT-Diesel. This product was developed especially to combat many diesel related problems. PT-Diesel ' sadvanced technology is the only known cure for this epidemic.
When PT-Diesel is added to the fuel, it replaces and maintains boundary lubricity to the infected parts and also creates nearly complete combustion which has the effect of turning diesel fuel into the most economically efficient, cleanest, non-polluting fuel in the world.
It achieves this by separating fossil molecular chains into small uniform sizes and then coating them with a special heat seeking formulation (combustion modifier) which makes them easier to burn. Black smoke, noxious fumes, annoying noises and high-particulate exhausts have been substantially reduced with PT-Diesel. Reports from fleets and individual driver/owners who have used PT-Diesel say they are not only getting the benefit of insuring against premature breakdown from low sulfur fuel, but notice significant fuel saving of 10% or more.
And, as a big plus, exhausts no longer pollute.
NOTE: With all ProTec fuel catalysts, it is best to double the dose at the time of first use. Some users find a heavier than recommended dosage to be more cost-effective on a continuous basis.
